Happy Sunday

I haven't been able to blog, since I've been running around a lot this week. Between Wil's birthday, my niece's 1st birthday, work, and all of my random errands; just haven't had the time to sit down and upload, and unload. So here are a few pictures that I took this past Sunday, the 18th from my baby niece's birthday party, the Colombian Festival in Hackensack, and others.

Me and Yolliebird (Yolanda) sippin' on some bangin' ass piña coladas at the Colombian Festival. There wasn't a drop of alcohol in them, but they were so effen amazing!

Sakinah & Li'Asia (sisters) - It was the little one's 1st birthday, and she seemed a little over it. I would be, too if everyone was passing me around like a ragdoll. I get that it was the child's birthday, but it was too damn hott for all of that!

Li'Asia's Birthda Cake - The cake was really cute. It was Diego and Dora. Problem: It was sooooo hott out, so they decided to "take a nap"...haha. It tasted sooo good, though!

Justin (Christina's Son - Youngest of 2) - Is he fucking adorable?! I want to put him in my pocket! Almost like a Polly-Pocket, except its Justin. Lol.

A little Sunday night company with red wine. It was amazing. (Clearly, everything from this day was amazing or bangin.)

Wil's Birthday Cake - Yes, homemade by yours truly! A little help from the Pillsbury Doughboy, but I gave this a lot of effort. Look at how neat it is. Yummm!

All of her fans have been dying to hear a new single, see a new picture that has something to do with the new album, know a release date. FINALLY, the time has come! Christina, like always, has pulled out all the stops with the cover for her new single, "Not Myself Tonight" with her very sexxy, devilish look. I don't know what else to say but "Bitch better do it!" HAH! I looooove it!

The power is back on! I'm super excited. Sooo excited, that I jumped right onto the computer to re-make *exhales* my banner. I hope you all like it. I was very hesistant to do anything with Gaga, because I know so many people ride that girl like there's no tomorrow. So I tried to find pics that I not only loved, but knew no one else would find "pretty". This is pretty to me. Bondage. Lol.

Hello, December.

Its freaking December, already. Like wtf?!

Nothing new and exciting has happened to me over the past few days. All I've been doing is working, cleaning up at home, decorating, shopping (I can't stay out of Target to save my life), and just thinking a lot. Unfortunately, we will be moving in March *sigh*. I really, REALLY, really love this apartment. I don't want to leave it at all. I constantly have to tell myself over and over again that we weren't going to stay here forever. Its just so hard because I am so attached. But I must admit, I am looking forward to the change. We've had some shitty luck in this place, not to mention its not the most convenient area to live in. You have to walk about 8-9 blocks (12 min walk) everyday to get to the bus stop. I walk this almost everyday. NOT FUN! Its about 9-10 mins for me, 15 for everyone else actually. I walk like a true New Yorker..fast as all hell. At least if we move to my old city, we'll be in the center of everything...oh the life! So that's one bit of excitement, I guess.

I've decided to share some pics of Macy's in NYC from this past weekend. There's nothing like New York in the winter...especially around Christmas. Its so damn festive. I must say everyone should make a trip into the city during this time to see the tree, the lights, the parks (Central/Bryant), the people, the food, the shopping!

That's Macy's huge "Believe" lit logo on the 7-level shopping store (YES! 7-Levels of shopping amazingness).

That's a skating rink that was made in the center of Bryant Park (where Fashion Week is held). The guy in orange is one of the guards, and the woman (yeah, that's a woman) in the beige coat is standing next to a man...her now fiancé! He proposed to her on the ice that night...how effin sweet! (boooo!)

That's the good shit you see in New York!

How did this turn into an "I love NY" blog?! Bye to myself! Well, I'm off to bed. Those candles aren't going to sell themselves tomorrow. I'm glad to be back at BBW, but at the same time I feel like I played myself. I really hope my luck looks upwards soon. Adios.

New look! You like?! I've gotten inspired by the imagery that these girls have been putting out lately. Gaga and Rihanna have amazing album jackets. I LOVE Rihanna's...maybe because it was done by Ellen Von Unwerth. I love the work she's done over the years with Christina Aguilera, as well as other shoots she's done with Beyoncé, GaGa, and models. I chose Rihanna because it was so out there and risque. And who doesn't love a little skin?!
